Martina Genovese (she/they), in art craftyvarda, is an illustrator and bookbinder from Sicily, based in Glasgow.

Her illustrations are characterised by a funky style and eye-catching colours, and are inspired by pop culture and feminist reflections alike.

Her visual work also fuels her bookbinding practice, generating notebooks based on original ink designs, as well as sketchbooks and journals hand made with a close eye on sustainability.

In her free time, Martina can be spotted in climbing gyms, live music venues, and whispering to squirrels.
